Dr. Levander leads Rice University’s international strategy, fostering global networks and partnerships in Europe, India, the Americas, and Africa.

Levander currently serves on the Board of Directors of Venice International University, a prestigious global consortium of two dozen universities and institutions committed to international collaboration in teaching, research and innovation.

Dr. Levander built Rice Online Learning, a global leader in digital education with the mission of delivering quality education in and beyond the classroom.

ED TECH ADVISOR

In 2022, Honor Education acquired the company that Levander co-founded, as a key component of HE's teaching and learning platform, that delivers transformational education for colleges, universities, and corporations.

INTERDISCIPLINARY ARTS & HUMANITIES PROGRAM BUILDING

Dr. Levander developed the concepts for a cross-university arts strategy that resulted, among other things, in the Moody Center for the Arts which infuses arts throughout the university.

In addition, she led the transformation of the Center for the Study of Cultures into the Humanities Research Center, which has become an internationally recognized hub for fostering intellectual inquiry in the humanities and arts at Rice University.
